Who we are

I am Igor Benić and this website address is: https://www.ibenic.com. This document (“Privacy Policy”) is written so you can understand how we collect the data, what we do with the data and where we send the data, in some cases described below.

If you need more detail from this website, you can always contact us using the contact form or by sending a direct email to i.benic@hotmail.com.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

If you use our contact form, located here, we will store all the data that was sent to our site. This data is used only for reference so that we may contact you back and know all the data from the form.

You may request us to look upon your email in such data and delete it or export it to you.

Newsletter forms

Newsletter forms can be found under most of articles and pages. They are used to collect your email and inform you of new articles and products.

On most forms, we collect your email address and your name and on some just your email. Your name is collected so we can personalize the email we are sending to you.

We use MailChimp for newsletter lists.

Webinar forms

The webinar form can be found on the Webinar page. This form is used to collect your email and name and to inform you about the webinar through several emails that we send until the Webinar starts.

For each new Webinar, we create a new email list. After the Webinar is over, your email is then merged to our Newsletter list and the newly created email list is deleted.

We use MailChimp for webinar lists.

Email Courses

We offer you an option to sign up for a short email course. The total number of emails, you will be given, is depending on your engagement with the course.

The maximum number of emails you can get is 11. After that, you will be automatically unsubscribed from the course.

We are using MailerLite for the email course.
